What careful firms ask first.

Where does our client data live?
In your environment. Engagements are configured local-first by default: private workspaces on your managed devices, under your existing access and encryption controls. If your firm requires a hosted component, it is scoped with your security team — never a personal or public account.
Will our security team sign off on this?
That is the point of the documentation. Every engagement ships with a written security and controls brief — data flows, guardrails, and each mitigation mapped to the concern it answers — so your IT and compliance functions can review, ask questions, and approve on their terms.
How fast does an engagement move?
A Partner Workstation typically lands in two to three weeks; a Firm Pilot in four to six. Fixed milestones and a hard finish, so the project does not drift. You work directly with the architect who builds these systems — not a junior team.
Why fixed fees instead of hourly?
Because you should know the cost before the work begins. Fixed fees keep the incentive on finishing well, not billing long — and they make the engagement easy to approve internally. Day sessions exist for anything smaller.
