Corrections
We try to get every fact right. When we don't, we fix it in the open.
How to report an error
Use our inquiry form. Please include: 1. The page URL. 2. The exact statement you believe is wrong. 3. What you believe is correct. 4. A link to a primary source that supports it, such as official documentation, a release note or a filing. 5. Your name and contact details, and whether you're affiliated with the vendor.
Please don't send confidential client data.
What we do
- Evidence decides. We check every report against primary sources. We make a correction only if the evidence supports it, and we tell you the outcome: substantiated, partially substantiated or not substantiated.
- Visible, dated revisions. Every correction is noted on the page it affects, with the date, what changed and why. We don't edit silently.
- Under review. If a published fact is seriously in doubt, we mark it "Under review" while we check, rather than quietly changing or removing it.
- Same process for everyone. Readers, vendors, advertisers and consulting clients all use this process. Being a TeachU customer gives no influence over the outcome, and vendors can't edit their own records.
- Assessments. A corrected input produces a new, dated result. The earlier result stays visible in the page's revision history.
Response times
We acknowledge every report within 2 business days and aim to resolve it within 10 business days. If a review will take longer, we'll tell you.
